Ken DeWees

Continuing a long family tradition started by his mother, Ken DeWees established his own company, Chile Traditions, in 1992. Ken furnishes several fine retailers such as Bloomingdale's (NYC), various gift shops (West of Santa Fe inside Caesar's Palace), and restaurants around the country. Chile Traditions is the largest outdoor chile retailer in Albuquerque NM, serving hundreds of people with fine chile products and selling thousands of feet of chile ristras every year. During harvest season the roaster gets put to good use. Chile is sold to the public by the ton for their year round use. Chile Traditions now has a store front across the street from the original location that also sells ristras and chile products, as well as salsas, hot sauces, and decorations for the home. Now, with this online store all these products can be sold to new and existing chile fans around the world.
